Internship Terms & Usage Policy

Please read these terms carefully before submitting your application

1. Nature of the Internship

This is a remote, learning-focused, and skill-based internship program. The internship is unpaid and designed to help participants learn through structured modules, guided tasks, screenrecordings, explanations, and a capstone project. There is no joining fee, course fee, or hidden charge associated with this program.

2. Learning, Tasks & Submissions

Interns are required to complete learning modules and submit short explanatory videos, demonstrations, practicals, or recordings as part of the internship flow. These submissions are meant to assess clarity, understanding, and effort - not professional video production quality.

Resubmission Policy: For video tasks, code tasks, and capstone project submissions, we provide a maximum of two opportunities for resubmission. If interns still do not deliver satisfactory results after two resubmissions, they must reach out for guidance and clarification. If an intern does not contact us even after exhausting resubmission opportunities,no certificate will be provided.

3. Content Usage & Publishing Consent

By participating in this internship, you grant EduLinkUp the right to use, publish, edit, and share your internship-related content (including but not limited to short videos, explanations, screen recordings, and project walkthroughs) across EduLinkUp's platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, GitHub, website, and promotional materials.

Proper credit will always be given to the original creator wherever the content is shared. This consent applies only to content created as part of the EduLinkUp internship tasks and capstone.

4. Capstone Projects & GitHub Ownership

As part of the internship, interns are required to complete a capstone project. These projects will be hosted under EduLinkUp's GitHub Organisation for collaboration, visibility, and standardisation purposes.

While the repository will be owned by the organization, individual contributors will be clearly credited through commit history, documentation, and acknowledgements. Interns are encouraged to showcase these projects in their portfolios and resumes.

5. Confidentiality & Fair Use

Interns may gain access to internal discussions, planning documents, or platform-related information. You agree not to misuse, leak, or misrepresent any internal or private information shared during the internship.

6. Professional Conduct

Interns are expected to communicate respectfully, meet reasonable deadlines, and engage sincerely with feedback. Plagiarism, low-effort spam submissions, or misrepresentation of work may lead to removal from the program.

7. Completion, Certification & Opportunities

Internship certificates are awarded only upon successful completion of required modules, submissions, and capstone review. Completion does not guarantee paid roles or employment; however, exceptional performers may be considered for future collaborations, core team roles, or paid opportunities at the discretion of the organizers.

Cohort Deadlines & Extensions: Officially, Cohort 1 ends on March 1st, 2026. However, if participants do not complete the capstone project on time, we will allow a maximum of 30 additional days for resubmission, including personal considerations. No extensions will be granted beyond this grace period.

8. Medical Emergency & Cohort Transfer

If an intern experiences any medical issues and is unable to complete the internship on time, they may be shifted to the next cohort free of cost. Proper medical documentation is required for approval of such transfers.

Important conditions: An intern can be shifted to the next cohort for a maximum ofone time only. No refund will be provided in this case, as the intern retains access to the program in the subsequent cohort.

9. Termination & Program Changes

EduLinkUp reserves the right to modify, pause, or terminate the internship program or an individual's participation in cases of misconduct, policy violation, or operational necessity. Interns may also choose to withdraw from the program at any time.

By submitting your application and checking the acceptance box, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and usage policies.
