Section I: The Rules
Platform
EduLinkUp handles all prize logistics. HackerRank is simply the host.

Code via HackerRank (supports 30+ languages). Check hackerrank.com/environment.
Duration
Contest runs for 2 hours continuously once started.
Problems
Multiple problems with varying difficulty levels based on logic and algorithms.
Languages
Support for Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, and other HackerRank languages.
Submissions
Multiple attempts allowed. Incorrect submissions may incur time penalties.
Fair Play
Individual work only. No AI tools, collaboration, or external code copying.
Plagiarism
Automatic similarity checks for all submissions. Violations lead to disqualification.
Leaderboard
Live rankings based on score and time penalties throughout the event.
Tie Breaking
Participant with the least time to achieve the score ranks higher.
Conduct
Maintain professional and respectful behavior in all contest community areas.

Challenges have predefined scores based on difficulty.
Test Cases
Score depends on the number of individual test cases passed.
Evaluation
Submissions are evaluated against hidden and visible test cases.
Ranking
Total cumulative score across all challenges determines rank.
Tie-Breaker
Broken by the sum of time of the first correct solution for all problems.
